Our Coaches and Staff
Benjamin Jones has coached lacrosse in Arizona since 2006. He is the former head coach of the Pinnacle High School Boys Lacrosse program and founded the Desert Ridge Rattlers in 2016. He has qualified every team he has coached for post-season play, most recently with Pinnacle's first D1 appearance in 2018. He won the 14U Cactus Cup State Championship with Phoenix Lacrosse Club during a run of finals appearances and led Horizon High School Boys Lacrosse to the Division II final in 2009.
Chuck Rullan hails from East Meadow, NY, playing under legendary coach Jack Kaley before matriculating at Ithaca College. His Arizona coaching resume includes the first All-American selection and State Player of the Year while at Pinnacle High School, multiple playoff appearances while coaching at Sabino High School, and the founding the successful Sabercats youth program in Tucson. In 2019 he led a select team of 2023 players to the US Lacrosse Youth National Championships as well as guiding the Gilbert Bulldogs to a Cactus Cup finals appearance.
Brad Moeller played 4 years for Sabino High School varsity team, where he was their leading scorer for 3 of those years. Was named Honorable Mention as a sophomore and 2nd Team All-State as a senior. After High School, Brad went on to start at the University of Arizona for 2 years prior to graduating with a degree in Economics.
Additionally, Desert Ridge Rattlers welcomes current and former players from Pinnacle and Horizon High Schools, and featured guests to teach specialty clinics for goalkeeping, defense, and face-offs.
